Wife, Mary Eleanor Gilmore and four children arrived in Fremantle on the GOTHIC in April 1912. They then travelled to Albany by train. Frederick managed Rocky Crossing Farm until he bought a farm at Mount Barker and a saddlery/boot repair shop.
