Stavroula Ghemitzis (nee Gotsis) travelled from Kalliroi, Greece to Australia with her siblings Yiorgo, Anastasia and Ioanni. They left behind their parents and three other siblings. In Greece, Stavroula's family worked the land. In Australia, Stavroula married Constantinos Ghemitzis. Together they had three daughters, Helen, Sevasti, Ioanna, and five grandchildren
