Born Apolinaras Gecas - now known as Jack. On arrival in 1949 stayed at Graylands Camp for one month and then took a two year contract for the Water Board in Mukinbudin. Retired in 1992 as an Orderley from Fremantle Hospital. Fathered five children in Australia. Now lives in Rockingham.
