Olive was the main instigator in establishing Wandoo Heights Nature Reserve along with Adela and Harry Hyde. She has tirelessly promoted saving native farmland. Her video 'The saving of a Landscape' and the book 'Wandoo Heights a wildflower journal' are a testament to her love of the bush. She became an Australian citizen on the 12th March 1975.
