Franko Gavranic came to WA and worked in the timber industry in Jardee (near Manjimup). He and his wife Jakica (who came to Australia in 1926) had six healthy children - Eva, Frank, Peter, Marie, Rosemary and Violet. Franko Gavranic always loved his chosen country.
