With their 4 daughters - Jane 1855-1947, Agnes 1857-1925, Emma 1859-1940, Margaret 1861-1937 - they travelled to York where Robert worked as a labourer at Tipperary. They had 5 more children - Martha 1864-1949, Sarah 1866-1875, William 1868-1953, John Simmons 1871-1963, Mary Ann 1873-1956. The family moved to Mt Hardey where Robert, Eliza & Sarah died in 1875. All are buried in unmarked graves in York.
