Came to WA as a farm labourer and worked clearing land in the Kondinin/Corrigin area. Married Roma Brown in 1939. Joined the army in 1940. Served in Mid East/New Guinea/Borneo. Joined PMG 1946. Drowned off Esperance, body never found.
