An infant on arrival with Group Settlement. Parent's William and Mary Ellen, she was reared at St Joseph's Orphanage after her mother's death in 1933. She worked at St Anne's Hospital before marriage to Milton Bowen. She is now mother of four, grandmother of twelve and Great Grandmother of seven.
