Celeste arrived in WA as a pastry cook, but went on to work at the Day Dawn Gold mine in the Murchison area. Years later he purchased land at Bridgetown to begin farming. Was naturalized on 22/07/1905 and dropped off one 'L' from the Garbelini name. Married Elizabeth Busher in Dardanup 1911, had 3 children, Domenico, Andrew and Mary. Died of tuberculosis on 09/06/1917.
