In 1959 the Gangemi's purchased a dairy farm in Byford WA. Within 10 years their family became the biggest milk production quota holder in WA. They lived on the Byford farm homestead until death. Their family carried out dairying up until the year 2000 when the Dairy industry been deregulated.
