Arrived 1829 with elder brother, Richard and younger brother, Edward. James M. Elizabeth Spencer 19/10/1843 who arrived on Calista - 12 children. The three brothers were indentured to Col Latour.

  • James Gallop built Gallop House in Dalkeith as well as the Sail & Anchor (Freemasons) Hotel in Fremantle. His brother Richard is credited with having grown the first grapes to have been been made into wine and exported to England from WA.
