1942: Leading Seaman, Johannes, arrived Fremantle with Dutch navy. 1944: Married Australian Sophia Haddow. 1946: Returned to Holland for discharge. 1949: Migrated to Australia with Sophia & Dutch born son, William. Worked as sales supervisor. Three more children, Pieter, Carole, Joanne were born. Retired 1983. Ten grandchildren, many great granchildren.
