William & Harriet Frater arrived in Western Australia in 1920 & joined the Group Settlement Scheme in 1922. Allocated a farm on Group 4 at Kudardup, they worked as pioneers to establish a dairy farm on heavily timbered bush land, until the Depression forced them to walk off in 1930.
