Salvatore arrived with bootmakers trade and operated business in Fremantle firstly at 68 High Street and later 95 Market Street. In 1940 he was interned at Harvey and later at Kalgoorlie. Following his release he lived in Katanning and Joondanna. He died at MCL Convalescence Home in Cottesloe.
