All John's goods were destroyed by fire. He decided to return to England then met Elizabeth Dicey (sponsored by Children's Friends' Society, arrived "Giraffe" 1835) by Rev JB Wittenoon, had 12 children. Farmed at Vasse, Dardanup, Ferguson then pioneered “Preston Park” near Donnybrook.

  • The records i have on my ancestor is that he came out on the britomart in 1838 and not 1837 as the britomart did not come that year.
