Left their village of Keskin in Turkey, brothers John & Basil came to Fremantle from Greece. They arrived 12 years before their widowed mother Evdokia & siblings. Worked at the Timber Corp Mill in Greenbushes before operating a wood yard in Beaufort St (NA. Queen's Hotel). John never married and Basil married late in life. No children.
