Alan and his family worked and lived in the Western District of Victoria until 1972. A son, Steven Alan Flowers was born in 1962. Alan and Jo divorced in 1972. Alan moved to Melbourne and married Claire Rosemunde Bailey in 1972. Another son, David Anderson Flowers, was born in 1980.
