Robert arrived in Fremantle with brothers James and William who settled in Manjimup. Robert was a woodcutter in Jarrahdale, later a boilermaker in Perth. He married and raised a stepson (also Robert). His hobby was making model sailing ships of the type bringing migrants to Fremantle.

  • There was also a David Flett that travelled with them...he died a few days after arriving here...James Flett is my sons Grandfather.....

  • Have since found David Flett the brother who came out with Robert was buried at Albany.
