William Fleming, an Enrolled Pensioner Guard, with wife Isabella, a Midwife, and 3 children - Jane, Isabella and William, lived in Henderson St Barracks Fremantle. Later they were granted land, Lot 71 Thompson Rd, Nth Fremantle. Previously Fleming had served 10 years with the Inneskilling Regiment in India.
