William Fitzsimons, born Wicklow, EIRE, fought in WWI. Departed Tilbury on SS BALLARAT 14/12/1922, arrived Fremantle January 1923. Initially cleared land Kulin, then took on farm work. Married 1930, took over abandoned farm at Buntine. Eventually prospered and retired to North Beach 1961.
