Maurice & Christabell traveled by train with their 2 children to Fremantle Immigration Centre. Then in the middle of winter by truck to Wellard. Given a tent to live in until they could build a house. Chris traveled by milk truck to Fremantle & then onto King Edward for 3 more children. Stayed until 1931. Land unsuitable. Moved to Fremantle where 2 more children were born. Of the 7 children, 4 are still living. Wesley, Una, Brian, Oscar, Hazel, Ivan & Alan.
