Georg, Lieselotte & family arrived from the European winter into extremely hot summer conditions and were transferred to Northam Migrant camp. A son (Gunnar) was born in July 1954 in Northam and a daughter (Karien) was later born in Perth. Georg was employed at Kwinana refinery. The family settled in East Victoria Park.
