Established a tailoring business at 42 South Terrace, Fremantle. Shortly after he arrived in WA was interned during WW2 taking him to such places as Kalgoorlie, Harvey and Katherine as a labourer. After the war married local Fremantle girl, Nunzia La Rosa and became one of Perth's well known tailors with clients from all walks of life including politicians and sportsmen. His shop was at 49 High Street, Fremantle.
