My father came to Australia in 1952, initially he worked to send money back to his family in Italy. However, as time went on dad started to create a life for himself, he grew to love the country. His work led him to Merredin, where he was trained in many new skills (including leading hand/first class welder). Dad always had intentions of going back to Italy, however, six years on, he met Anne Orr (now Finessi) and built a life and a family here. He loves this country and is a proud Australian.
