Arrived Fremantle with mother Mariangela & siblings Caterina, Giuseppina & Antonino. Was met by father Giovanni. Stayed in East Perth 1 week. Then Giovanni took family to Watheroo where he worked as a farm hand. Concetta attended Watheroo Primary School until the family returned to Perth where they settled for good.

  • Concetta went to work at Reliance Manufacturing Co in Perth at the age of 13 or 14 in order to supplement the family income for her father took sick and was not able to work for some time. Around the age of 21 she married Luigi Vicentini a young Italian (from the Abruzzi region).
    They had two children, Anna Maria and Silvia.
