Peter Ferguson came to Australia in 1959 and studied theology in Sydney. He returned to South Africa in 1965 as an Anglican priest with his Australian born wife, Lynnette. He served in 2 parishes; Clanwilliam (North Western Cape) & St. Mark's Church (District Six, Cape Town). Their four children, Stephen, Jane, Susan and Lindsay were born in South Africa. In 1973 the family emigrated so they could enjoy life in a free society.
