Leaving his family behind the War intervened. A Master Tailor he worked from shops in Aberdeen Street, later Albany and Northampton. Latterly he lived in Adelaide Terrace creating a beautiful garden. Reunited with his only son he found and loved two little granddaughters before his early death.
