19 year old Giovanni migrated to Australia for better opportunities. He found his niche as a crayfishing skipper, becoming a WA fishing legend. Together with his wife Maria he produced three more Fedeles: Giovanni (John), Angela and Julie. Today, Giovanni is still a favourite character within Fremantle's Italian community
