Arrived Fremantle 1952. Sponsored brothers Giovanni and Antonio. Married Grazia Rotondella in 1956. Had three children, Gennaro, Antonietta and Liza. For the first year worked railways by day, fruit picking after work and fencing weekends from sun up to sun down for two pounds. From 1955 till retirement worked in the fishing industry. Was self employed owner/skipper and an active pioneer in the crayfish, prawning and purse-seine industries. Now enjoying five grandchildren.
