One of 11 children, and because of poor health left England to make a new life in Australia. Alice married John Adolf Alingsen 7th Sept 1914. He arrived Bunbury on Kratos 1911 from Sweden as Johan Adolf Almgren. Three daughters: Anna Hester, Jeannie Elizabeth & Margot Dorothy. A courageous beautiful Lady.
