We were from pioneering stock. Our grandparents went to Kenya after WWI. Dad, Warwick Ian Candlin Fear flew out in Nov 1969 & we followed in Feb 1970 (Mum, my four brothers & myself), arriving on the SS Chusan. Mounts Bay Road took us to Perth, a favourite drive to this day. We stayed our first week at the Kalamunda Hotel. A love of all things Australiana was born at this pub. We all live in Oz with our families. We have grown from 7 to 32. Australia has been good to us.
