After a period of living with relatives in Roleystone, Bill & Ailsa moved around, living in various suburbs of Perth for the first 10 years in Perth. They then settled in Como for 33 years bringing up their 5 children there. Bill worked as a Records Clerk for the State Government until his retirement and Ailsa a pastry cook for the Sanitarium health Food Co. After retirement they moved to Gosnells for 11 years and now reside at Sherwin Lodge. They have 5 children, 3 daughters and 2 sons, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
