Paolo Carmelo Faranda arrived in Fremantle on 08/05/1949 from Sinagra, Sicily on the vessel NAPOLI. Paolo arrived one year ahead of his wife Catena Carmela Faranda (Musca). He joined brother Alberto on a bush market garden at Gnagara, Wanneroo. Paolo arrived at Wanneroo in the clothes he left Sicily with and with one shilling in his pocket.
