Ermenegildo Faranda, son of Francesco. Born 1935, Sinagra, Italy. Arrived in Fremantle in 1954 on the Australia. Married Teresa Caputo in 1961. A hardworking carpenter and businessman, Jim (Gildo) has been involved in and supportive of the Italian community in Perth. Now retired a hobby winemaker.
