Read their story
In 1951 at the age of 20yrs, Nicholas worked as a deckhand at MTT Ferries. In 1954 he became a Ferry Captain, until retired in 1992 and now still drives ferries on a casual basis. Rosa arrived by herself on the Achille Lauro in 1957 to join her husband Nicholas. They were married by proxy but knew one another in the old country.
