Lorenzo migrated to Australia to begin a new life with better opportunities for his wife Elvira, and sons Daniele and Angelo. They joined Lorenzo in 1953. Over the next five years Lorenzo used his skills as a Stonemason to build the family home out of granite gathered from the Darling Range.
