We left Southampton 18/2/68 arriving in the Port of Fremantle 16/3/68 with our only son Glenn. We lived South of the river for nine years and then moved North of the river. We still have one son and eight beautiful Aussie grandchildren. We both still work and love Australia.

  • Thank you for making this post . It helped me with the dates of our emigration. We came on the same vessel and disembarked in Melbourne on 19/3. We were a family of 4, John and Delphine Turnbull and the children Howard and Helen. We lived in Southampton prior to emigrating but originally came from Lancashire. I don't imagine your family would remember ours but I do recall the fancy dress party ( I was an Egyptian mummy) and the crossing of the line ceremony!! best wishes Helen
