George went out to the Kalgoorlie Goldfields, invested in the stock exchange, started a building company in Perth, served in WWII as a gunner/radio operator on bombers in New Guinea. With wife Alice (nee Higgs) had two children, Elizabeth and Peter. Previously arrived in NSW in 1927.
