They came out on settlement scheme which was founded on deceit. They suffered hardships and lost the farm. Dad laboured until the war. He joined army. They had seven children 4 boys, 3 girls - Kenneth, Kathleen, George, Edwin, Stella, Roy, Lyn. Dad's name was Albert, mum's name was Gertrude Ladysmith.
