It was quite a change from Cornwall & Truro School. Farming was hard, Len became sick & the Depression hit. Len sold his farm & started teaching at Tingledale (1939) studying at night. He married Erica Exelby (1949) & they had two children. His passion was fishing at Peaceful Bay.
