Enid Earl evacuated from Singapore 18th November 1941 with children Alan, Maudie, Rae, Norman, Gordon and her father George Hawken. Husband Jerry stayed behind & joined the volunteer forces. He was a POW for 4 years until 1945. After the war he joined his family in WA.
