Maddalena arrived in Perth through Fremantle Port. She was aged 10 & accompanied by her Mother Mariantonia & sisters Carmina & Antonietta. Maddalena married Giuseppe D'Uva in 1964. They had 4 children - Teresa born 1968, Margherita 1969, Stella 1971 & Domenico 1975.
