The Driel family came into being when Cornelis and Anthonia married in Bandung, Indonesia in 1946. In 1954 the family arrived in Fremantle from the Netherlands with the addition of two daughters. A son was born in Australia. Now the family extends to five granddaughters, one grandson and two great grandsons.
