Arrived Fremantle 3rd September 1949. Exactly 10 years to the day from the start of WWII. Came with Jim Roland a work friend from Kinglassie Fife Scotland. We started work at Plaistowes Confectionary. I guess that was the start of my sweet jobs in WA.
