I am thinking that this man was my great-grandfather. If anyone knows more about this family, I would appreciate knowing more.
My father's name was William Romain Spiers and his mother's name was Elinor Bruce-Drayton before she married George Spiers. She had at least one and maybe more brothers. Her mother and father apparently came to Australia because her own father was of a higher social and military standing and her family was not pleased with her decision. My grandmother had a daughter Christina who married a Bill Rockcliff and she had younger twin brothers, William (Bill) and Edward (Ted). Their parents divorced, I believe, soon after the twins were born and lived in Busselton.
