Joan Margaret (nee Wood) of Sheffield and Sylvan of Mosborough, Derbyshire married on 15/10/1949. They emigrated to Australia, settling in Waggrakine near Geraldton. They had 4 children - Sylvan jnr, Joan jnr, Roger and Alan. At different times they undertook various farming activities including ducks, pigs, chickens, peas and tomatoes.
