On arrival at Fremantle 1927, Luigi & son Giuseppe milked cows in Darlington for 5 shillings + keep before going on to mine gold at Gwalia, Wiluna & Kalgoorlie. After serving in the army, Giuseppe raised 5 children in Perth. Luigi returned to Italy in 1952.
