Giovanni Dorigo came to Australia after losing most of his family to influenza, to seek his fortune and escape Mussolini dictatorship. His family's master tailoring skills, operatic tenor voice, medical training, long distance walking, art, poetry, politics were wrapped in a handsome, kind-hearted personage, marrying Muriel in Fremantle in 1938.
