NICOLA TRAVELLED OUT WITH HIS MUM CAMILLA AND SISTER ANNA. THEY JOINED FATHER ANTONIO AND BROTHER DON IN BOULDER TO MINE AND THEN RETURN TO PERTH IN 1941 TO FARM AT MADDINGTON. HE MARRIED AND BECAME A WOODCUTTER FOR PUMPING STATIONS IN THE GOLDFIELDS.
