Dad (William Marshall Dodds) had served 10 years in the British Army working in Scotland, Germany, Cyprus etc. My dad, my brother & myself set off to Australia for a new life. With the help of dad's trade (carpenter), we were able to get in to Australia to begin that wonderful new life.
